On February 1, David Cleveland, Research Director of Euromonitor, the London-based global market research company, officially signed and released the global connected air-conditioner (including smart air conditioner) data report, showing that Haier is the number one brand of connected air conditioners (including smart air conditioners) in the world, with a market share of 23.6% in terms of volume sales in 2016. This is the first authoritative research report on connected conditioner (including smart air conditioners) in the world released by Euromonitor.
Euromonitor conducted this survey in 46 countries and regions, involving 30 brands throughout the world. The results show that the sales volume of global connected air-conditioners, including intelligent air-conditioners, reached its highest level 2016; and the compound annual growth rate of connected air-conditioners (including smart air conditioners) from 2013 to 2016 registered 62%. The sales volume of connected air-conditioners (including smart air conditioners) in China accounted for 73% of that total, making China the largest market for connected air-conditioners (including smart air conditioners) in the world.
The report forecasts that the connected air-conditioner (including smart air conditioner) market will continue expanding, with the Chinese market possessing great development potential in the future.
